A native New Yorker, Chris Romulo began training in martial arts at the age of eight. His father, who was a 3rd Degree Black Belt under S. Henry Cho, first introduced him to the art of Tae Kwon Doe. As a result of his dedication and years of training, Chris went on to reach the ranks of red belt. Despite his training and efficiency in TKD, his teen years were challenging because of the bullying in his community. Tired of being hounded and getting into trouble, Chris sought out to learn a more practical art for self-defense. This is when he discovered Muay Thai and it changed his life. In 2009, fueled by his achievements in Muay Thai, Chris was named as a spokesperson for Bullying...We're Kickin' It. Chris had his first amateur bout in 1996 at the age of 21. Since then, he has won five amateur titles and one professional title. A “fighter’s fighter,” Chris is known for his knock out power, stamina, and technical precision.
