Mr. Classic's back at it...Fri, 3/26/10 at The Hall @ St. Paul, NYC!
Friday Night Fights NYC - March 26th Muay Thai Card featuring Chris "Mr. Classic" Romulo:
For those of you are unfamiliar with this event, Friday Night Fights NYC Series keeps up the tradition and aesthetic of
"Old School Fight Club" mixed with authentic muay thai boxing from Thailand. There will be 10 professional and amateur muay thai bouts all housed in the basement of one of NYC's oldest church basements (big enough to hold 1500 fans)
RC church + muay thai= interesting night that you should never mention to your nonna/abuela or granny;-)
In his last fight (2/19/10) Romulo stopped his opponent dead in his tracks with a 5th round head kick KO after 4 rounds of a highly technical chess match. This month Romulo faces off with Robert Blake, who is ranked 9th in the world under the IKF (International Kickboxing Federation). He's a seasoned fighter out of Kendalville, Indiana ready to slug it out with the technical Chris "Mr. Classic" Romulo. CROM, as always will be putting it all out on the line to keep his 5-0 winning streak going for the NY fans and making more waves for his MMA debut.
